台灣東部今天(12日)中午11時17分發生芮氏規模5.8地震，「國家級警報」簡訊系統隨即啟動，不過有民眾沒收到警示簡訊。對此，行政院長張善政表示，他也沒有收到警示簡訊，將瞭解確切原因。

張揆表示，「國家級警報」簡訊系統是政府近期推出的新系統，目的是讓民眾收到即時警告簡訊，但是為何今天地震警示簡訊有人收得到、有人收不到，他將瞭解情況，確認原因。

張善政表示，中午地震發生時他正在接待外賓，成員來自世界各國，地震發生之後他馬上安撫外賓解釋台灣經常發生地震，不用擔心，幸好沒有發生事情。
